I noticed recently that I have been missing some of my socks. Few things annoy me more. When I open my drawer in the morning and pull out a sock without it's mate, I get angry. I question Kate and dig through her drawers. I check the washer and dryer to see if one clung to the sides out of sight. I follow the path from our room to the laundry room checking to see if one fell out on the way. Nothing. Argh!!! Where do they go? Do I have a sock gremlin that steals my socks just to torture me? Sound preposterous? Well I do...

The Color of Money

Our friends Christian and Marika threw a great Christmas Party this past weekend at their house. This picture was right after Christian (the guy to directly to my right) and I fleeced the 2 guys shaking hands out of $40. I'd like to take some credit, I sunk one ball off the break in an earlier game, but Christian cleaned up and didn't even give these guys a chance to shoot in this game. I have played Christian quite a bit in pool and I’d say my winning percentage against him is around 2%. I know which horse to hitch my wagon to when it comes to doubles...

Look at that poor dog and what my wife subjects him to... It is a good thing he likes her so much and doesn't have opposable thumbs. I allowed this to happen and laughed while it was going on... Forgive me Bear; she knows not what she does…
